I took some time off. Started a business. Started a season with a team making a run at a State Championship.
But I’m back.
Verse of the Day:
“By the grace of God I am what I am”
~ 1 Cor. 1:10
Quote of the Day:
“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
Excerpt of the Day:
“But in the midst of all of this…I’ve lost my need and suppressed my desire for wonder.
If wonders never cease (and I believe they won’t) then I just need eyes again to see, and intentionality to notice.
I have tried to savor life in the moment–a little snapshot here and a little recognition there. I think I’ve been successful at that.
But have I approached life, all of life, not as a journey to success but as a destination for wonder?
“Our goal should be to live life in radical amazement. ….get up in the morning and look at the world in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything is phenomenal; everything is incredible; never treat life casually. To be spiritual is to be amazed.”― Abraham Joshua Heschel
My life is not a test from God.
My life is a gift from God.
It’s not about the doing, it’s about the being. Then wonders never cease.”
